Jeep Cherokee Maintenance Schedule

It’s important no matter if you are following a Jeep Wrangler maintenance schedule or other Jeep model, that you cover these basics at monthly and mileage intervals:

Monthly

• Check fluid levels (engine oil, windshield washer, brake, coolant, etc.)
• Check tire pressure
• Check the interior and exterior lights
• If it’s time for an Jeep oil change: replace the filter, rotate the tires, and inspect the exhaust, battery terminals, brake pads, and door latches

Every 20,000 miles

• Inspect the universal joints, front suspension, tie rod ends, front and rear axle fluid, and brake linings

• Inspect the transfer fluid and case fluid

• Flush and replace engine, intercooler, battery, and Motor Generator Unit coolant if needed (if not, then do so at 150,000 miles)
